Diaper bag must-haves

There are so many adorable diaper bags and accessories out today. It can get overwhelming trying to figure it all out. Read on to learn what Mama Nurse suggests for diaper bag must-haves. 

Besides the obvious diapers, wipes and bottles, here are the most important thing you need:

1. Wet bags – Babies will get wet, soak through their clothes, have a diaper blow out, or their bottle will leak. You need some place to put the wet or soiled clothes. Pack 2 of these! And they come in so many cute colors and patterns.

2. Organizer bags: In my quest to be super organized all the time (ha!) I bought these for my diaper bag. Guess what – I never used them! But guess what – I do now! I use them for every little thing that I need to keep organized in my bag as my kids grow. One for markers, one for my makeup, one for hair ties, you get the idea.

3. Wipes: Use these for when you aren’t near a sink – on an airplane, park, etc, and need to do a quick wipe:[/caption]

4. Poopy diaper bags: Like a dog poop bag for your baby’s diaper.

5. Changing pad: This kit is great for travel – on airplanes, parks, etc so you can have everything handy and at your fingertips. Otherwise, I would just throw diapers and wipes in my bag.

6. Feeding supplies: Pack your nursing cover or formula container so you can feed on the go. Don’t forget something to heat your bottles up with:

7. Snack and utensil containers: for snacks or baby food on the go.

8. Snack containers: my kids still use these snack towers when we are on the go.

9. Keep it clean: keep germs away with these hands sanitizer sprays

It is so important to take your baby on outings, and you can still be comfortable and have the comforts of home while you are doing.
